Nearly two years after his last concert there Claudio Abbado will return to Hamburg, this time with the Orchestra Mozart. On 7.6.2014 they will play Mendelssohn in the Laeiszhalle.

Thank you for posting the latest information about Maestro Abbado. It is very difficult to find out how his health is and how his schedule has been modified. I hope he recovers well from whatever his latest infirmity has been. I wish we knew whether he is terribly ill or simply weak and recovering, or if he is at home or in hospital, and if he is in Italy or where? Our very strong well wishes reach out to him wherever he is.
